Wylie ISD has appointed Cory Oglesby as the new Head Coach for the Varsity Girls Soccer team beginning with the 2025 season. Oglesby, a former collegiate player at Texas A&M University–Commerce and coach at multiple high-performing Texas high schools, brings two decades of coaching experience to the role. The hiring aligns with the club’s broader soccer initiatives, including support of Football (soccer) development within the district. The appointment is part of ongoing efforts to reinforce the structure and strategy of Wylie’s soccer programs. The district anticipates that her leadership will contribute to the continued advancement of Gridiron Football’s soccer-related programs in the region.
