The Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) has announced the expansion of its Atlantic Conference’s District Division to include McLean Soccer, the McLean Youth Soccer Association’s adult women’s team. The newly incorporated side will embark on an eight-game, home-and-away schedule against clubs from Alexandria, Arlington, Richmond, and Washington, D.C., with the division winner advancing to the Atlantic Conference Championship and the South Region playoffs. McLean Soccer’s addition marks continued growth of women’s soccer in Northern Virginia, offering local players elevated competition and exposure within one of the nation’s largest amateur leagues. The club’s launch into the WPSL also underscores the long-standing success of McLean Youth Soccer’s development pipeline in the region.
