Union City Football Team

Union City Football Team is now participating in the New Jersey Youth Soccer (NJYS) Innovate to Grow initiative, aiming to expand youth participation and development in underserved communities. Through the program, NJYS provides Union City Soccer Club with essential resources such as equipment, coaching education, and administrative support. The initiative is designed to enhance player development, bolster parent engagement, and ensure consistent and high-quality grassroots programming. Union City Soccer Club leadership highlighted progress in both technical skills and confidence among youth players, citing improvements in first successful passes and peer mentorship as rewarding outcomes. The effort aligns with broader goals to strengthen soccer at the community level across the state.
