The Kansas City Royals and Boulevard Brewing have expanded their community outreach this spring through a STEM‑focused sustainability campaign. Each time a Royals player hits a home run exceeding 425 feet—termed a “moonshot”—Boulevard commits to planting 425 trees via the Arbor Day Foundation. To date, the initiative has pledged over 2,000 trees. The club is also launching the “Space Station,” an immersive themed bar within Kauffman Stadium’s View Level Bar, ahead of “Space Camper Day” on June 27, which will feature décor, giveaways, and fan experiences tied to the Space Camper IPA and science education efforts.
