Philadelphia Country Club

Philadelphia Country Club in Gladwyne, Pa., will serve as the stroke‑play co‑host course for the 2026 U.S. Amateur Championship, the USGA announced. The club will partner with nearby Merion Golf Club, which will oversee both stroke‑play and match‑play rounds of the 126th edition of the championship, scheduled for August 10–16, 2026. Philadelphia Country Club, one of the founding members of the USGA and host of the 1939 U.S. Open, continues its legacy of supporting elite amateur competition. The inaugural stroke‑play rounds will take place at Philadelphia Country Club ahead of the match‑play phase at Merion.
