Under the agreement announced March 6, 2026, the collaboration will highlight Battle Creek’s pivotal role in baseball history—ranging from Negro League exhibitions to Harry Caray’s inaugural play‑by‑play broadcast and Derek Jeter signing his first contract—with exhibits, heritage nights, historical content and in‑stadium storytelling throughout the 2026 season and beyond. MCCU Field will serve as a focal point in celebrating and preserving the region’s baseball legacy.
