Masirah were eliminated from the Sultan Cup following a 3‑1 defeat to Rustaq Club in the Round of 32, held at Sur Sports Complex on 1 February. Rustaq Club secured their win through a brace from Mohammed Al Ghafri, contributing both goals in the second half to extend their lead following a goalless first period. Masirah offered limited resistance as Rustaq Club sealed progression with their third goal to end the tie. The result ends Masirah’s run in the competition at an early knockout stage.
