Former Major League Baseball outfielder Luis Polonia has inaugurated the Polonia Perfect Swing training center in Manhattan, New York, aimed at preparing young baseball and softball prospects. The facility, located at Saint Nicholas Avenue and West 176th Street, features modern batting instruction areas, a gym, chiropractic services, a sports shop, and a juice bar. The center will offer programs in hitting, defense, pitching, catching, infield, and outfield, with hourly and monthly payment options available. Polonia emphasized the center’s focus on both academic and athletic development, drawing from his experience running a successful academy in the Dominican Republic.
