JUDOCLUB’s region demonstrated its strong connection to the broader Belgian judo community, marked by recent developments in national competition. On February 2–5, 2026, nearly 300 judoka from 30 countries convened at the EJU Olympic Training Camp in Herstal, offering an opportunity for emerging athletes to train alongside top-ranked competitors, including world number one Eteri Liparteliani (GEO) and Belgian Matthias Casse ([eju.net](https://www.eju.net/organising-the-eju-training-camp-in-herstal-is-always-a-source-of-pride/?utm_source=openai)).
