Golf NSW has formally acquired Bingara Gorge Golf Course in Wilton, New South Wales, reinforcing its ambition to transform the site into a central hub for high‑performance training, tournaments, and community participation. The 18‑hole, par‑72 championship course spans 90 hectares and was designed by Graham Marsh, noted for its scenic and technical challenge.¹² 

Metro Property Development confirmed the transaction in mid‑April 2026, including plans by Golf NSW to construct two golf bridges, with construction set to begin mid‑2026 and conclude by mid‑2027.¹¹ The acquisition supports Golf NSW’s vision of elevating the course to championship standards while maintaining accessibility for golfers across skill levels.¹²

Golf operations at Bingara Gorge will continue uninterrupted during the transition, with future enhancements expected to benefit both residents and the broader Wollondilly Shire community.¹
