San Diego Baseball

Two individuals admitted to operating a fraudulent charity under the guise of supporting youth softball through concessions sales at San Diego venues including Petco Park and Snapdragon Stadium. The scheme, falsely marketed as “Chula Vista Fast Pitch,” was contracted to receive approximately 10% of concessions revenue; however, none of the funds were directed to softball programs. Instead, the proceeds—amounting to some $3.5 million from Delaware North and over $250,000 from Aztec Shops—were largely misappropriated by the perpetrators. This incident casts a shadow over contributions aimed at supporting San Diego Baseball and softball communities.
