The Oso Pony Baseball League has secured continued access to the Southside Sports Complex in Corpus Christi under a newly finalized agreement with the City of Corpus Christi. The arrangement enables the league to maintain its operations at 1901 Paul Jones Avenue while expanding field access to additional community groups. Fields now offer rental rates starting at $4.25 per hour (or $5.25 per hour with lighting), helping reduce financial pressures on youth sports organizations. Under the agreement, the City’s Parks & Recreation Department will assume field maintenance responsibilities. This model supports equitable use of public facilities and enhances programming for youth baseball and softball in the region, benefiting the Oso Pony Baseball League and broader community stakeholders.
