Longtime Colorado State softball coach Jen Fisher, a Fort Collins native and CSU graduate, has announced her retirement following the 2026 season. Fisher departs as the program’s winningest coach with 376 victories and two Mountain West Coach of the Year awards. She led the Rams to the 2019 Mountain West regular‑season title and their first NCAA Tournament appearance since 2003. Fisher made the announcement on May 20, 2026, and CSU plans to begin a nationwide search for her successor ahead of its upcoming move to the Pac‑12 Conference.
