The Player’s Edge, Inc. will establish a manufacturing facility in Kewanee following City Council approval of a Tax Increment Financing (TIF) agreement. The Player’s Edge plans to produce outdoor courts for sports such as pickleball, basketball and tennis at a former industrial site on Burlington Avenue. The agreement provides up to $248,000 in reimbursement for building improvements and is expected to generate approximately 10 to 12 local jobs. The development represents a strategic investment in local sports infrastructure and economic growth.
