Chesapeake Baseball

The Chesapeake Panthers, representing Chesapeake High School, were defeated 9–5 by the Fairland Dragons on April 24, marking a second loss to the same opponent this season following a 6–1 setback on April 8. Despite the outcome, Colten Huffman delivered a standout performance for Chesapeake, going 2-for-3 with a triple, run and RBI, while Mason Budd contributed a double, stolen base and run in a 1-for-3 showing. The loss adjusted Chesapeake’s season record to 7–10. Chesapeake Baseball is now preparing for its next inter‑conference game, scheduled against rival Ironton on Monday at 5:30 p.m.
