The Altoona Baseball League, operating under the AAABA umbrella, will engage in a renewed interleague regular-season schedule with the Johnstown Collegiate Baseball League in 2026. For the first time in 12 years, the Altoona teams—including Cumming Motors, Cogan Electric, and Imler’s Poultry, plus a fourth yet-to-be-named squad—will each face the four Johnstown league teams in two-game series. The Altoona clubs will also maintain intra-league play, totaling a balanced schedule aimed at enhancing local competitive opportunities and retaining players within Blair County. The restructured format will feature games across refurbished venues including Vets Field in Altoona, Sargent Stadium in Johnstown, and Mount Aloysius College’s field.
