Achilles Gauteng athletes delivered notable performances at the Lake Farm Centre Charity Run in the Eastern Cape. Gift Chigomarawa of Achilles Gauteng claimed victory in the 25 km Rolf Kordes Endurance Challenge, finishing in 1:31:51 amid difficult weather conditions. In the 10 km event, Achilles Gauteng’s Mxoleleni Tabata crossed first in 34:43, followed by teammate Siyavuya Jeyi in second place at 36:04. The club's athletes showcased their depth across both distances in a highly competitive charity event that drew over 1 200 participants.
