Mayhem Baseball Club’s 10U travel team, the Mayhem Bad Boys, secured the 10U USSSA World Series crown in Gulfport, Mississippi, marking a championship win in just their second season of competition. The squad, coached by Newton Rams head coach Andre Byrd, comprises elementary school players from the Newton County area, representing communities such as West Newton, The Theme School, Fairview and Rocky Plains. Their achievement follows a third-place finish in their inaugural season and reflects rapid advancement through the AA level of the USSSA system, with strong support from team parents facilitating the club's certification and competitive progression.
