Mayhem Baseball Club

In a standout performance last week, the Mayhem Baseball Club’s 10u travel team, the Mayhem Bad Boys, secured the USSSA World Series title in Gulfport, Mississippi, in just its second season. Led by Newton Rams coach Andre Byrd, the squad defeated Major-level competition despite beginning as an AA-level team in their debut season, earning a prompt promotion via their 2025 success. The achievement underscores the club’s rapid development and growing competitiveness on the youth travel baseball scene. The team’s success also reflects the organizational efforts of dedicated volunteers, who helped facilitate the club’s tournament entry and certification.
