West Tampa Little League

West Tampa Little League recently joined community partners to refurbish the historic baseball field at St. Joseph’s Catholic School, returning the facility to active use. The club led the renovation to restore the field’s usability and honor its legacy as a former home to players such as Tony LaRusso, Lou Piniella, Dave Magadan and Tino Martinez. The refurbishment addresses growing demand, as nearly 400 children now participate in West Tampa Little League, exceeding the capacity of existing venues. The upgraded field will serve both baseball and softball needs, enhancing opportunities for youth athletes in the program.
