West Tampa Little League

West Tampa Little League completed a collaborative restoration of the historic field at St. Joseph’s Catholic School in Tampa. The project, conducted alongside community leaders, returns the facility to usable condition after years of disrepair. The refurbished field will host T-ball games for the league and serve as an improved space for students’ physical education and recess. Notably, West Tampa Little League, now serving nearly 400 children, overcame space limitations at its main site through this partnership. This initiative highlights the league’s commitment to community access and youth development in the heart of Tampa’s baseball and softball landscape. The improvements were reported in early April 2026.
