Union City Football Team receives attention as the Union City Soccer Club prepares to host a city-wide festival at the Midtown Athletic Complex. The 2026 Union City Soccer Festival, set for June 13, will feature matches between Union City Soccer Club and Cedar Stars Academy, complemented by entertainment including live DJ music, family activities, and food vendors. The event is organized in collaboration with Union City’s Board of Education, the mayor’s office, Cedar Stars Academy, and the Statewide Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of New Jersey. Free parking will be available at the nearby municipal deck. The festival aims to engage the community in local soccer development while providing a family-friendly soccer celebration.
