UCF captured its first ever Sun Belt Conference men’s soccer tournament championship with a 3-1 victory over Marshall in the tournament final. The Knights, seeded fifth, secured their automatic NCAA tournament berth behind a first‑half opener from Frederic Benedix and a second‑half brace by Newcomer of the Year Lilian Ricol. UCF’s Joey Mueller earned the Sun Belt Elite Award for exemplary performance on and off the field. The win positions UCF among four Sun Belt teams advancing to the 2025 NCAA men’s soccer tournament, alongside Marshall, Kentucky, and West Virginia. UCF will host Florida Atlantic in the opening round.
