The Diamond Collective

The Diamond Collective, a nonprofit baseball and softball development hub in South Baltimore, has significantly boosted energy efficiency at its indoor training facility. Through a partnership with BGE’s Small Business Energy Solutions program, the organization installed smart lighting systems across batting cages, turf areas, classrooms, and exterior zones, reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 83 metric tons and saving over $8,400 annually. The improvements were supported by more than $44,000 in incentives, enabling the club to reinvest in programming and extend its reach among Baltimore youth. The upgrades underscore The Diamond Collective’s commitment to both youth development and sustainable operations.
