Salinas Baseball Academy

Texas A&M–Kingsville head softball coach Orlando Salinas reached a career milestone on April 10, 2026, by securing his 100th win. The milestone victory came during a doubleheader against St. Edward’s University, capped by a dramatic walk‑off double from pinch‑hitter Megan Geyer in extra innings, followed by a 7‑5 win in the second game to complete the sweep. Under Salinas’s leadership, the Javelinas extended their winning streak to 13 games, marking the longest active streak in the Lone Star Conference. Salinas, a former Javelina baseball player and assistant under his father, remains one of the program’s most successful coaches.
