Sunbird Men’s GA members were informed at the February 23 board meeting that chits—previously usable only in the golf shop and expiring annually—may now be applied toward membership dues, golf packages or merchandise without expiration. The board also disclosed plans to upgrade the driving range this summer by filling in valleys and overseeding the area, aiming to reduce dust and improve practice conditions after years of dormancy. The club cited health considerations and water conservation constraints as factors in the overseed timing.
