Strike Academy, a Rockford-based travel and club baseball organization, has entered a formal agreement with Rockford Public Schools. The memorandum of agreement allows Strike Academy to rent Jefferson school baseball fields when school teams are not scheduled, while district students gain access to Strike Academy’s indoor facility, which features batting cages, pitching tunnels, and radar equipment. The arrangement reflects collaboration between the club and the district to maximize resources and provide training benefits to student-athletes. The partnership is scheduled for review in a Rockford school board meeting on October 21, 2025.
