The Rochester Honkers Baseball Club will play its final season at Mayo Field in 2026 as ownership confirmed the aging ballpark will no longer serve as the team’s home beyond this summer. The club’s current owners, Bases Loaded Entertainment, noted that site constraints and lack of municipal support have prevented progress on financing and locating a replacement venue. As a charter member of the Northwoods League since 1994, the Rochester Honkers now face an uncertain future for 2027, with discussions underway about a possible relocation or temporary suspension of operations while plans for a new ballpark continue. The team remains committed to the 2026 season.
