Port Adelaide Football Club is advancing its strategic off‑field development by unveiling a proposed mixed‑use precinct named “Alberton Square”, enveloping the historic Alberton Oval. The club has quietly acquired 26 residential properties over the past three years surrounding the venue. The 20,000‑square‑metre site is slated for a transformative commercial, residential and health hub at an estimated cost of AUD 351 million (USD 250 million), aimed at securing long‑term financial sustainability for the club and its community legacy.
