14th Ward Youth Baseball Association

In recent developments across Pittsburgh’s youth sports community, the 14th Ward Youth Baseball Association finds itself part of a broader city‑wide improvement effort. Pittsburgh Mayor Corey O’Connor, Pirates Charities and the Pennsylvania Laborers’ District Council have committed a combined $600,000 toward renovating approximately 20 youth baseball and softball fields, focusing on enhancements like field grading, drainage systems and new scoreboards. While not exclusive to a single league, these upgrades are expected to benefit youth organizations including the 14th Ward Youth Baseball Association by improving field safety and infrastructure in their service areas.
