North Arlington Little League

North Arlington Little League’s 12U “Williamsport” squad captured the District 5 championship with a commanding 14‑4 victory over Saddle Brook in the final. The team posted seven consecutive wins to secure the title, marking the second such district championship in three years after a 58‑year drought. The roster featured mostly younger-than-average players, with only half of the 12-athlete squad actually being 12 years old. Pitchers Anthony Henderson and Dylan Egan anchored the staff, while contributions from Luigi Romeo, James Lawler and Nicholas Reed added depth. The team’s balanced offense and strong pitching propelled its unexpected and emphatic success. The club now looks ahead as one of the region’s most promising youth baseball programs.
