Mount Pleasant Baseball’s softball program, known as the Lady Tigers, is entering the Class 5A Division I bi‑district playoff series featuring a best‑of‑three matchup against Prosper Walnut Grove. Mount Pleasant comes into the series with a 20‑9‑1 record, while their opponent holds an 18‑12 mark. Game 1 took place on Thursday, April 23, followed by Game 2 on Friday, April 24, and if necessary, a deciding game on Saturday, April 25. The series is hosted at Commerce High School with tickets priced at $5 for adults and $3 for students. fans are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.
