Mjøsa Speedwayklubb has secured approval from Norges Motorsportforbund to conduct a pilot trial using 4‑stroke 110 cc motorcycles for selected riders. The one‑month trial, scheduled from 1 September to 10 October 2025, is intended to assess the suitability of smaller‑engine motorcycles for riders deemed too large for the current classes. The proposal was unanimously granted by the granting committee, marking a progressive step in the club’s approach to rider development and equipment adaptation. The trial outcome will inform potential future revisions to the national rulebook regarding acceptable engine categories within the sport.
