MISL Baseball Academy’s baseball team of San Marcos was shut out by the Marion Bulldogs, 9–0, during a game played in Marion. Three Marion pitchers—Jack Wells, Eli Parker and Gage Hamilton—combined to deliver the shutout, while third baseman Mateo Zuniga contributed a two‑for‑four performance including a home run and two RBIs. The club’s performance reflected challenges in both pitching and offense amid strong opposition. MISL Baseball Academy continues its season following the non‑conference setback.
