Maryland authorities have earmarked $400,000 in 2026 bond initiative funding toward upgrades at the Diamond Collective’s indoor baseball training facility in Baltimore. The Baltimore Urban Baseball Association, which operates The Diamond Collective at 1205 S. Carey Street, previously doubled the facility’s footprint in 2024—expanding from approximately 10,000 to 20,000 square feet—to accommodate growing demand. The newly allocated funds are intended for infrastructure improvements to support the expanded space and enhance operations. This development underscores ongoing public investment in youth baseball and softball development through The Diamond Collective.
