Magdalene continues its active presence in water sports as Magdalene Boat Club (MBC) prepares for its annual training camp this Easter, with 35 club members traveling to Lake Bled in Slovenia. For the first time, the crew will transport their own boats for the expedition, marking a significant logistical milestone for the college rowing squad. The club has also demonstrated recent competitive strength, with the M1a finishing second, W1 third and M2 fifth in the Fairbairn Cup, reinforcing MBC’s status as a leading college sports community on the River Cam. Magdalene remains the largest student society in the college, with strong representation across the rowing community.
