Macon Bacon

Macon Bacon has been recognized as the 2025 Organization of the Year by the Coastal Plain League. The award highlights the club’s operational excellence, record attendance, robust community impact and successful fan engagement initiatives. Under new ownership, the team hosted the league’s All-Star Game, retired Jackie Robinson’s No. 42 jersey on June 20 and auctioned commemorative jerseys to benefit RBI Baseball Macon. The organization also exceeded $650,000 in charitable donations and partnered with nonprofits such as Sleep in Heavenly Peace and Healing 4 Heroes. Macon Bacon drew an average of 2,475 fans per game and over 67,000 total attendees, while ticket revenues and corporate partnerships also reached new highs.
