The Lancaster Youth Baseball & Softball Association is set to resume its summer recreational program for the 2026 season, continuing its operations as in previous years. The program, organized by a group of volunteer parents, now functions as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit and will participate in the Southwest Wisconsin Coaches League (SWCL) under its regulations. Informal practices are expected to begin in April with formal sessions starting in May. The registration fee is set at $65 per child, capped at $150 per family, to cover expenses such as umpires, insurance, t‑shirts, game balls, field preparation, and SWCL league fees. The initiative reinforces support for youth baseball and softball in the region.
