Tehachapi Blizzard

In a recent Kern County high school playoff matchup, the Shafter Lady Generals overcame the Tehachapi Warriors with a 6‑4 victory. Tehachapi scored four early runs, but the Generals staged a comeback in the sixth inning. Cassidy Torres delivered a standout performance, pitching all nine innings, striking out eight while allowing just three earned runs, and later drove in the game‑winning runs with a clutch hit. The result ended the season for the Tehachapi Warriors softball team, while Shafter advanced to the next round with continued postseason hopes.
