Kalispell Lakers Baseball Association

The Kalispell Lakers Baseball Association has appointed Michael O’Connell as the new AA Head Coach and Director of Baseball. O’Connell previously served nearly a decade at Miles Community College, concluding his tenure as head coach from 2023 to 2025. During that period, his teams posted a 75–31 record, secured the 2024 MONDAK Coach of the Year award, won a conference championship, and produced multiple NJCAA and All-Region honorees. The Kalispell Lakers Baseball Association anticipates that O’Connell’s emphasis on competitive excellence, academic success, and community leadership will reinforce the program’s longstanding player development traditions.
