Illinois Valley Pistol Shrimp

The Illinois Valley Pistol Shrimp, a collegiate summer league team in the Prospect League based in Peru, opened their 2026 season on May 26 with an away game against the Clinton LumberKings. Home games at Schweickert Stadium, part of Veterans Memorial Park, are offered with free general admission courtesy of the City of Peru, and free parking is also available.
