Salinas Baseball Academy

The Corpus Christi Hooks and KRIS6 have initiated a baseball and softball equipment drive, encouraging community members to donate new or gently used equipment at the Whataburger Field front office. Donors will be entered for a chance to win four tickets to a Houston Astros game and will receive Hooks game tickets in appreciation. The drive began with a donation to Moody High School’s baseball team, including two sets of catcher’s gear comprising helmets, masks, chest protectors, knee guards and cleats. The effort underscores local support for youth baseball and softball programs in the region that also includes participation from Salinas Baseball Academy.
