Henrico County is nearing completion of an NCAA‑regulation baseball complex at Glover Park in Glen Allen, a facility that complements local baseball development programs such as Richmond Baseball Academy West. The county’s Recreation and Parks Department began construction in summer 2025 on the 80‑acre first phase of a 200‑acre site. Upon its anticipated opening in spring 2026, the complex will feature six full‑size synthetic‑turf diamond fields with stadium seating, alongside amenities including trails, a dog park and expanded parking. Richmond Baseball Academy West is well‑positioned to leverage the region’s growing infrastructure supporting youth travel baseball and softball. The facility is expected to attract college‑level tournaments and increase opportunities for travel teams.
