The Kalispell Lakers Baseball Association concluded its American Legion regular season with a series sweep at the hands of the Great Falls Chargers. The Chargers secured a dominant 11‑1 mercy‑rule victory in the opener, and secured a 6‑0 shutout in the second game. In the finale, the Lakers fought back in a high-scoring affair but ultimately fell 11‑8. The results leave the Lakers with a 10‑14 record, while the Chargers finish 13‑11, and both advance to the Class AA state tournament in Missoula. The Kalispell Lakers Baseball Association now shifts focus to postseason play.
