Goroke Golf Club conducted a successful mid‑year sporting program in early July, staging two‑person Ambrose tournaments in both men’s and ladies’ formats. Winners included Fiona Crawley and Hayley Hocking in the ladies’ event, and Greg Lee with Rowan Hage in the men’s competition. The club also advanced its Club 4BBB Par Championships, with first‑round matches scheduled through mid‑August, followed by semi‑finals and a final set for late September. These events attracted participants from at least ten affiliated clubs, reinforcing Goroke Golf Club’s role as a regional hub for competitive sand‑scrape golf in country Victoria. The club continues to provide structured competition and community engagement amid its rural setting.
