Garden City Wind

Garden City leaders have approved nearly $50 million in STAR bonds to advance the second phase of the Sports of the World project, a development that will directly impact local baseball and softball infrastructure. The funding will support construction of four competition softball fields and four baseball fields, along with space for future restaurants, hotels and retail establishments near U.S. Highway 83 and East Mary Street. This expansion stands to benefit community organizations including Garden City Wind by enhancing regional sporting venues and amenities.
