Delta Little League

Delta Little League’s broader community is reflected in the region’s thriving softball scene. High school Delta softball, representing the Delta area, began its Hoosier Heritage Conference season with a 9‑7 home victory over New Castle on April 13, 2026. After falling behind early, the team rallied with timely hitting and aggressive base running, including five stolen bases, powered by performances from junior Haley Loser, sophomore Jordyn Hughes, and freshman Chloe Mynett. Pitching duties were handled by freshmen Mynett and Jacquelyn Linn, who combined for a composed showing and helped secure the win as the Eagles launched their conference campaign. The club’s local Little League continues amid this rising regional momentum in youth softball.
