City of Elk Grove officials recently issued a Notice of Exemption for a Minor Conditional Use Permit allowing D‑BAT Baseball & Softball Academy to utilize approximately 12,800 square feet at 3132 Dwight Road, Suite 400, as a training facility. The club’s planned operations will focus on youth and high school baseball and softball practices, including pitching, hitting and fielding instruction for both teams and individual athletes. The permit also includes a special parking exception. The facility aligns with D‑BAT Elk Grove’s existing indoor academy model and supports its role in providing year‑round skill development opportunities in the region.
