Pella officials have disclosed an extensive multi‑year capital improvement plan for Bos Landen Golf Club. Since assuming full operational control in early 2023, the City has reported increased rounds played and memberships—even as its subsidy fell from $387,000 to approximately $147,000. Planned investments over the next five years include significant bunker and cart path repairs, irrigation upgrades, and a renovation of hole 18, with FY2028 alone expected to cost $2.39 million of a total $3.87 million forecast. Separately, a $30,000 project approved for 2026 will upgrade the clubhouse basement to meet safety and storage standards. These efforts underscore the City’s commitment to enhancing the facility’s infrastructure and its appeal to local and regional golfers.
