Central Coast Phillies Baseball

The Central Coast Phillies Baseball organization, based in Paso Robles, has announced the formation of an 18-and-under showcase softball team to support high school athletes in gaining exposure to college recruiters. This expansion into high school softball follows their previous efforts in fielding teams for ages 9 to 13, which achieved multiple top-two finishes in local and statewide tournaments. The new showcase squad will compete in four Northern California tournaments frequented by college coaches, and will be led by former college pitcher Elise Foster, supported by local high school coaches from Paso Robles to Santa Maria. Tryouts are scheduled for August 2 at Liberty High School in Paso Robles.
